Now, this is something that, in my opinion, all Indonesion celebrities should take upon themselves, especially if they want to stay in touch with his/her ‘MySpace/Facebook’ generation fans.
They should follow the step that Wulan and Dian have just taken upon themselves this year.
I am talking about Blogging.
PS: If you know any other Indonesian celebrities blogs out there, please let me know.
And now in Indonesian
Ini dia nih, kalo menurut pendapat aye, nyang musti dijalanin sama semua selebritis Indonesia.
Apalagi kalo mereka-mereka ini pengen tetep akrab sama pencinta-pencintanya, yang kebanyakan termasuk generasi MySpace/Facebook.
Mereke musti contoh jejak langkah dua wanita ini.
Yang gue maksud adalah Blogging !

Related to the recent 2006 Tsunami which devastated almost half of Aceh province, here is one of the best Film ever came out of Indonesia about Aceh. It had won many awards from many Film Festivals all over the world.
It tells an epic story about the longest guerrilla war that Indonesian people did against the Dutch Colonials. The most famous commander of this guerrilla was an Aceh woman, a Royal, called Tjoet Nja’ Dhien, pronounced ‘Cut Nyak Dhin’. She led the Aceh war until she was betrayed by one of her lieutenant and got arrested by the Dutch.
Aceh was the last free region of Indonesia (which had not been existed at that time) that come under Dutch Colony, way after 1900.
This movie tells about this story and especially about Tjoet Nja’ Dhien. The cast is full of veteran actors. Cinematography and music is breathtaking, and direction is superb.
This is totally AWESOME ! First of all, this is one of the best of the new generations of Indonesian Movies that I watched for a very long time. I believe it had been a triggered to a long stream of new movie productions. It is also featured some of the new generations of emerging young actors like Dian Sastrowardoyo and Nicholas Saputra, both now much older and successful in their acting career.
Thanks to dabelyu for making this possible, you are a star !
Btwy, if you haven’t noticed yet, I’m trying to use youtube’s playlist feature, which enable you to make a playlist of clips and embed them all in one code, brilliant !
This Indonesian Short Film/Movie is quite powerful one. It’s telling 3 stories about 3 women (played by Luna Maya), each named Maya, Raya and Daya, from 3 generations (1920s, 1945s, and 2000s), who had the same experience of having an abusive husband, and who at the end decided to say ‘enough is enough’.
